FAQs

Here you will find an overview of some of the most frequently asked questions.

Is exercising during pregnancy good for me?

Exercise during pregnancy is more than just staying in shape. It helps you to prepare your body for birth as well as the first few weeks postpartum. There is always the question if exercise can harm the baby - but if you have an uncomplicated and uneventful pregnancy being active has only benefits. If you are a vivid exerciser and you're used to high intensity training you can keep this up for as long as you are comfortable.

What about exercise post birth?

If you had a straightforward birth, (also cesareans can be straightforward) you can start gentle breathing and pelvic floor activation exercises as soon as a few days after birth. This will help your recovery journey. If you had a more complicated delivery your recovery time will be longer and I do suggest you trust the recommendation from your midwife, gynecologist or GP before starting anything more strenuous.

But yes - exercise post birth is super important for a woman's health. The body goes through so many changes during pregnancy and this needs to be adjusted post birth. You should always start with gentle exercises strengthening your deep core and pelvic floor muscles before returning to higher intensity or impact workouts.

If I am further along in my pregnancy, is it too late to join?

It is never too late to begin implementing everything I teach and guide you through in my prenatal classes or in my 1-1 sessions.

It doesn’t matter how far along you are in your pregnancy, the workouts and exercises will be scaled and optimised to your current level and will help you stay active, feel your best during pregnancy, and prepare you for the delivery phase of your pregnancy.

I have never exercised before. Can I still join?

If you are new to exercise in general, but would like to stay active during pregnancy then I recommend 1:1 sessions rather than jumping into a group setting. Pregnancy is not the time to test and challenge your body.

Which service/class is the right one for me?

I currently only offer Nutrition consultations as well as Personal Training sessions, which are tailored to you and your specific needs. I'll be able to craft a workout program designed around you and guide you with all my dedication through a journey to become a healthier and stronger Mama.

What should I expect from my first session?

To have fun, feel energised and leave fully empowered! When you arrive for the first time, I'll take the time to have a quick conversion and talk you through the structure of the class. For me it's important to understand if you have any pains or struggles or past injuries I should be aware of in order to make the session the safest and the most effective for you.

What languages do you offer?

All PT sessions as well as Nutrition Consultations can be in English or German.

Do I need any equipment?

You don't need to bring anything - everything we need to tailor your session specifically to you is available. But I do recommend bringing a water bottle. â€‹

Which locations do you cover?

Currently I teach all my Personal Training Sessions at Women's Lift Lounge, Danziger Str. 55, 10435.

I'm still unsure. Can I reach out to you directly?

Absolutely! I personally reply to all inquiries and messages I receive. You can easily reach me via email.
